Background: Bachelor of Science Degree: Biological Sciences; Ecology and Associate of Science Degree: Forestry Cowlitz County Noxious Weed Control Board. Born in Mexico; of Aztec decent. Immigrated to the United States when she was very young. Studied Forestry, Ecology, Fisheries and Plant Taxonomy in California where she received her degrees. She has worked with a number of government and private agencies including: California Department of Fish and Game, US Forest Service, Conservation Districts, and WA State Parks System. In additions, she has been involved with a number of organizations such as: Ducks Unlimited, Audubon Society, Trout Unlimited and Society of American Foresters.
